Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Azad Finance mobile application ("App") operated by Azad ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Azad is a personal financial tracking application that helps you visualise your progress toward financial freedom by comparing your passive income against your monthly expenses. The App allows you to track:

• Investment holdings (PSX stocks, mutual funds, crypto, savings, fixed deposits, rental income)
• Monthly expenses
• Bank and brokerage accounts
• Your Freedom Score — the percentage of expenses covered by passive income

2. Not Financial Advice

We are not responsible for any investment decisions you make based on information displayed in the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Free Trial and Subscription

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using Pro features.

• Subscription pricing is displayed within the App at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable law

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data
• Upload or transmit malicious code
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse our services

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the App.

8. Third-Party Data

Stock prices, mutual fund NAVs, and cryptocurrency prices displayed in the App are sourced from third-party providers (Sarmaaya, MUFAP, and cryptocurrency market data). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data and are not liable for errors in third-party data.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, and content, belong to Azad. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand elements.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be accurate. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Azad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses resulting from investment decisions. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
